There are many things happening in District 303 in relation to gifted education.  One such thing is the creation of a task force comprised of teachers, parents and administrators whose responsibility is to review expanded gifted and talented services in D303, identify specific areas of need for gifted and talented services, and then to create a short-term and long-term implementation plan.  An extensive document was prepared during the 2004-2005 school year which identified a plan for moving gifted and talented services forward within the district.  To download a copy of this document click here. 

The task force was reassembled for the 2005-2006 school year in order to move forward with a comprehensive implementation schedule.  The main deliverable of this task force was a handbook that details all of the specific policies, procedures and programs available within the district relating to gifted and talented services.  To download a copy of this document click here.
